Pauline spent her childhood on the tip of Brittany’s Finistère peninsula, surrounded by wild landscapes and the sea. Laurent grew up at an altitude of 1,600 metres in the Savoie mountains, where the mountains were his playground, winter and summer alike. A deep connection with nature and working outdoors have always felt natural to them. They met in Strasbourg while studying engineering in 2007.
Their relationship with vines and wine began at the age of 22, during a life-changing journey to Australia, where they worked at a vineyard on the west coast.
They were captivated by the craft of the artisan winemaker and went on to train in viticulture and oenology in Dijon.
In 2017, they settled among the great tuffeau limestone terroirs of the beautiful Loire Valley village of Le Puy-Notre-Dame.
With the invaluable help of their young and passionate employee Gaston, they devote themselves to their vines and wines with great care and precision, while deeply respecting the living world and the character of the place. They love exploring the micro-terroirs of Le Puy-Notre-Dame through a parcel-by-parcel approach, while allowing each vintage to express its own personality.
